DRY CREEK VINEYARD THE MARINER DRY CREEK VALLEY 2009

う・う~~ん？何かが違う、何かが足りない・・・。決して悪いわけではないのだけど、詰めが甘い・・・というかなんというか・・・。

第6回ナパ・ソノマ飲み合宿3日目、8種類のワインの中から選んだソノマの代表的ワイナリーDry Creek Vineyardのカベルネ主体のボルドーブレンドなのですが・・・。甘味、酸味、果実味・・・それらすべてがぼんやりしていて・・・。液体の比重は感じられるのですが、フィニッシュがさくっとしていて、全体的に薄っぺらい感じ・・・。テイスティング時に感じた印象的なInkyさも感じられず・・・。

『モヤモヤしたワイン』って感じでした（汗）。

トマトソースのアツアツピザと一緒だったら、また違ったかもしれません！Wine Spectator 92ポイントですしね（汗）。恐らく我々のように、ワイン単体で楽しむ輩には向かないワインだったかも？ちょっと、惜しかったですね。

Winemaker Comments:

The 2009 Mariner presents enticing aromas with deep vibrant hues of attractive red fruits. Aromas are dominated by cassis and dark cherry, toasted vanilla oak, hints of crème brulée and notes of espresso. On the palate, the flavors are harmonious and supple with blackberry and sweet black cherry combining with a toasty complexity. The tannins are fine and grainy, lending excellent structure to this wine. The finish is long and lingering with a charming flavor profile that entices one for another sip.
