2010年4月に発売されたばかりのダックホーン・ヴィンヤーズの新商品”The Discussion"。このワインを飲むために、2010年GWにダックホーンを訪問してきました！（2010年4月訪問記）。
ほぼ間違いなく、この「ディスカッション」を頂いた日本人は我々が初めてでしょう。また恐らく、日本に持ち込んだのも・・・。
この「ディスカッション」というワイン。まさにダックホーン・ヴィンヤーズの総力を挙げたプロプライエタリーワインです！ダックホーンの自社畑（Estate）から集められた選りすぐりのブドウ（カベルネ・ソーヴィニョン、メルロー、カベルネ・フラン、プティ・ヴェルドー）を原料として用いられた赤のブレンドワインの傑作！従ってお値段も高っ115$！
でも、それだけ払う価値はありましたねぇ。贅沢に造られてるのがわかる味の深さ、それに何よりボトルが重い・・・。相当寝かしてから飲んでね的なワインなんだろうな、という印象を持ちました。我々は、即飲んでしまいましたが・・・。
既に、ワイナリーでは完売。名だたるワイン評価し90点以上を総なめ（WE:96、WS:93、W&S：90)にしているワインです。見かけたら絶対また飲みます！でも、115$はやはりきつい・・・。

先日、2度目のDUCKHORN訪問して、噂のDiscussion飲んできました。（2008年$125）買わずにはいられませんでした（笑）
